December crop challenge #3

Post by Monica »

On the 3rd day of December the Tim tag looked like this: http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/2 ... tag-3.html. Once again we are making a custom inkpad, which is a technique I loved when it debuted the first year! ;)

That is one tech I don't do. Don't feel like it and I'm not sure what I will do with this tag. I'm sure it will be another one totally different.

I can never seem to remember to buy the felt. I have tried the make your own inkpad using some other felt and it worked but I never seem to want to stamp in multi-colors. It is really cool though!
I went totally off on my own tangent with this one. And, here is the reason we are all pack rats-we might use it some day. Last summer getting onto the plane at Charles de Gaulle airport they had free newspapers. I picked up a few, well, because they had cool French text!

Background of tag-newspaper colored with Pan Pastels. Eiffel Tower stencil (thank you, Judi!), three French hens-that is the sparkly black paper from Cruisin', other stuff.

and look at the little wire feet. I am so happy with them. Doesn't take much to amuse me!

Absolutely perfect! And cute to boot! I haven't decided what to do yet. Today has been baking day at my house, but I'm getting tired so may switch to crafting mode.

So cute - and I love those little feet, too!

(Joel is outside installing an outdoor electrical fixture so I can finally light my outdoor trees!) I've been decorating this afternoon and thought I was going to get time to prune the shrubs but daylight is fading quickly. I keep looking at Tim's tag and trying to imagine it as a 1st birthday card for Kenan. Not sure what I'm going to come up with either...

I went in a totally different way today too! I noticed I have a bit of a tree theme going on with my tags, so maybe I'll keep that up. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Details of what I did are on my blog.

Marianne... I adore those three French hens!! And the feet are too cute. ;)

Rachelle... that's a great take on the tag... love using a cactus as your tree!

This turned out completely different than I first thought. Once again I can't get a decent photo.

Awesome, awesome job ladies! All of them are fantastic. I won't feel bad at all when my day 3 is totally apart from his design.
