December crop challenge #1

On the first day of December the Tim tag looked like this: http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/2 ... tag-1.html. Today's tag is all frosty and sparkly.... I love the tattered pinecone and festive greenery dies, and I'm glad to see a video showing exactly how to wrap that pinecone (I haven't mastered it yet on my own!).

Here is my "rendition" of Tim's first tag. I didn't have the die for foilage so I used my Cricut cartridge called Florals Embellished for the greenery. The little gold Christmas tree was some garland on a string I bought at Michaels last year on clearance. The flowers were from a Swirlydoos kit and I don't know where I acquired the little rose strip on the bottom, but it was all I had of it so must have been in a swap. I like how it turned out. It was fun to take some time to play. Everything is real glittery but it doesn't show in the photo.

Wow!! Great job with this! I love seeing the variation when we pull from stash at hand to create. I'll be going through my Circut holiday carts tonight looking for something like the fancy Noel die to use on mine.
