very pretty

I watched the video and we did that technique with Tim H at retreat many years ago.
We did a frame with letters and used alcohol inks.

I was thinking we probably did this technique when we were kids to make fake metal looking crowns and swords! I would normally have used alcohol inks but since I had the Lumiere paints, I used them. Spraying a layer of fixative over the Lumieres didn't prevent it from rubbing off when the black was removed. Maybe dabbing it like she did would be better than rubbing it like I did. I forgot to dab gently.

My contribution to the precious metals is a flower I created last night with Blossom 3 Spellbinders dies and my Heartfelt Creations Flora Grande stamps. I gold embossed the flowers, cut them out, inked the cardstock with purple, sprayed with Irridescent Gold Glimmer Mist, shaped and assembled, then edged with rock candy Distress Stickles and coated with vintage glass glitter. Lots of sparkle!! Honestly, these are easy to make.... I only had a few minutes last night and I whipped it up that quickly.

I was in a wintry mood today so decided to play around with an old tuna tin and came up with this piece for the lottery. Details are on my blog.
