November lottery - precious metals - WINNER PG 5!
November lottery - precious metals - WINNER PG 5!
This is what happens when I start to work on Thanksgiving and Christmas cards... out come the metallic embossing powders and inks, the metal brads and eyelets, the foil papers.... so make something with a precious metal! Really flexible with the interpretation, but now you know where the idea sprang from.

Did I stump everyone with this? You know... there are metallic gelatos, metallic shimmer in every Tattered Angels paint or spray... I think even Twinkling H2Os should count because they shimmer too. Does that make this easier?? I know what I want to do, if I can find the time to do it!

Actually, yes. I was not expecting that theme, but I have plan A, plan B and plan C tumbling around in my brain - we'll see if I can make any of them work

Just call me the queen of the unexpected! You all should be used to that by now... most of the cyber-crops are completely random, based on whatever tickled my fancy or was mulling around in the back of my head at that time!!

The stress is just tremendous!!!!!!
Re: November lottery - precious metals
Ok, the marbles rattled long enough and I came up with this idea for the Precious Metals November Lottery. I have had this old cigar box sitting around for YEARS, so I thought I would alter it with metal. I used metal from Ten Second Studios along with their embossing plates, which by the way, is the first time I have used them since I purchased them, um.....3years ago!!! I also used their super sticky tape to adhere them. I put some Graphic 45 paper in the bottom, used some drawer pulls for the feet and roughed up the edges for a distressed look and filled it full of hand made flowers, that will go to the winner also. I really like it, so maybe I will win it!!! One of the flowers I made out of used dryer sheets so the box smells really nice! I made a flower from cupcake liners and the rest are made with the Tim Holtz dies. C 'mon everyone lets get those entries in, it's already the 4th!!! Before you know it, it will be the 24th! Thanks for looking.

it's beautiful
Re: November lottery - precious metals
Deb that box is GORGEOUS and the flowers are fantastic. Could you tell us how you made the cupcake liner flowers and the dryer sheet one. I saw some really pretty cupcake papers at Walmart the other day. I almost bought them, but wasn't sure what I would do with them. Oh, and I can collect lots of dryer sheets
I started working on my entry last night, but I keep changing my mind about which direction I'm going.
