Virgin of guadeloupe AJ page

Post by photocatseyes »

We were travelling through New Mexico in January of 2011 and I want to try to embed my photographs in my artjournal. Thanks for looking. These photographs were taken in Chimayo. A shrine for the Virgin of Guadeloupe amongst other saints.

Wow! Are you going to do a journal of the missions? (Did I just give you an idea???)

Actually you did... I need to start thinking about a book for Las Trampas and Chimayo. Still debating with my alter ego's whether to do a scrapbook or an art journal. I did not do enough missions on this trip to devote a whole book to it.
Most of the photographs have so much colour that it might be overkill to put them in an art journal. Maybe they just need to go on black paper. :D
