Hey Cat! It's me again. I'm the main admin for the board. So far, we aren't hitting any kind of forum limitations for posting attachments directly in a post. If that happens, we may have to start asking people to upload to the gallery and post a link. However, I think it's a PITA to do, so I typically just do an attachment. I'm lazy that way.

But, like Paula said, you are more than welcome to start uploading to your gallery, and then just use the "Img" tags (button above the post area) around the link to your gallery item. Or just post the URL to your item. Whatever you like best. Lots of people like doing the gallery approach, because then they can include a link to their whole gallery in their signature, or reference it from personal blogs, or whatever.

Anyway, welcome again, and your journal from today is really fantastic.
