Here are my flowers. Now I am just waiting for them to dry and will figure out what I'm going to do with them. BTW - I used 3 shades of LuminArte on them.

I put these in another category also. here are a couple of the flowers, nothing major done with them, just added CE and micro beads in the center.

Here is my entry for the flowers. I bought this at Donna's and thought that if I finished it, it would be perfect! Why did I pick all of the messy projects all at once. Here is the other side of my room, draped in newspaper. Sprayed, papinted and dripped. I just need to figure out where to put it now. BTW-this was a kit, all you had to do was assemble and paint. Easy peasy But there is about 6 packages of Pima flowers on there

Here are some flowers I did Friday night.
The daisy and the little ones are storebought flowers sprayed with mists. These are destined for the canvas album kit I got at Donna's Studio.

I did cut out 50 layers of tissue in groups of 10 on the Cuttlebug. It didn't take long. I ended up taking the stack apart to spray them and dried them some, then fastened with a temporary metal brad and squashed them into shape. When they were dried, I replaced the brad with the black one. Forgot to mention, I didn't like the perfect little scallops so I cut around it with scissors to get roughly round circles.

I got some flowers mostly made... I looked for those Petaloo ones, none at Beverly's and that's the only store I got to. So in my stash of all white flowers I found these. I painted with Twinks and then added some glitz with Moonglow powders (I have 3 sets of these and NEED to use them up!)
Now to figure out what to do with them. I did like this technique and it was fun to just sit and "paint" for awhile last night.

Here are my coffee filter flowers now painted with twinks and some perfect pearls added at the end. Getting ready to play with them now.

Here are some more flowers that I made this week. When I get stumped on something, I just sit and make flowers! The ones on the left are the material ones that Donna showed us with the circles. The ones on the right are made from material stips. Rip and glue--Donna showed us those too. I even made a floer from Donna's ribbon in the upper middle! The flowers on the upper left were white ones that I painted with Lumineires. Now I need to figure out what I am going to do with them!

I made the small ones with 1" strips, and the larger ones about 1.5:. The length was about a foot long. When you reach the end, just fold it to the back and glue. If it is too short, just start another strip, and continue.
They are so very easy! You can get really intricate by "folding" the material every time you glue, or just twist and glue. I twisted and glued! The dark pink ones are made with seam binding!! (guess where I got that from??) Then I painted them with pearlescent acrylic paint.

I made this banner about a year ago and may have posted it here before. I sprayed the petals of two different sized flowers with a little Tattered Angels. I then distressed the edges with an ink pad. After the flowers dried I cut the petals and formed the skirt.

Great colors on those flowers Paula! I need to keep a running list of projects to have in the car or on the plane. Those flowers would be on that list, for sure!
