Chunky book for Donna (5/2011 Re(create)!)

I know I posted this before but can't find it.
Just a reminder - we're each making a 4 x 4 piece of art to thank Donna & Bill for the use of their studio for this ReCreate event.
The only guideline is that the completed square is 4 x 4. Show her our best!

I'm terrible when it comes to deciding on a theme. Anyone want to throw one out?
Guideline #2 - sign it! Remember - these will go together in a book so pay attention to the back. I'm not saying to make it 2-sided necessarily but I know how messy the backside of my squares can be!

Thanks for posting again because I didn't remember this. Does it need to have a plain edge to be bound or just putting a ring in the corner or what?

I think Christy was going to bring her bind-it-all so yes, please leave the left edge unadorned to make room for the binding.

Just leave the top left corner free - I found a nice big ring to use to bind them together.
Be sure to sign your artwork and be conscious of how the back of your square looks. Yes, mine are usually a mess - this time I glued a nice clean piece of cardstock to the back of mine.
If you need a theme to get you going, use "thank you" (or not!).
I think we had another thread going about this project somewhere...

Yeah, probably another thread would be good. I still haven't started mine yet. I'm guessing I'm going to be needing reminders right up until the night before.
