When I was doing quite a lot of free motion machine quilting, I found I did a better job in the evenings. I could move the fabric around more smoothly and get a steadier stitching rhythm going. I thought it was having wine with dinner that made me more relaxed. I don't notice any difference with paper arts though.

I do too. I find my energy level gets a little bit of a burst and I really get psyched up to work.

If I drink any alcohol my pages get done quicker
Because I just don't care what they look like.

Sometimes I look at the pages the next day and WoW, why did
I do that.
So for me, I can't drink

I'm with you Sharon. If I get a couple of glasses of wine in me before heading to the scrap room, I tend to pay less attention to time, and just play. I definitely do better if I'm chilled out a little bit before hand.

lol...... you all crack me up!! I'm not aconsumer of alcohol, so for me it would be either an iced chai, ice water, or iced tea unless it's really cold, than possibly a mocha. I figure whatever helps you create.......

Christy - I've now got my BIL hooked on Relax. I had some at the house a few weeks ago, and he liked it. Then he purchased some for himself, and when he realized it had a screw top, that was it. He'll be keeping it stocked on a regular basis now. I'm currently out - need to get to the store soon!
