Very basic folded book art

Post by pugmom »

I was browsing the internet last night, mainly looking through Etsy and Flicker and came across some amazing folded book art. I Googled it and found instructions for a very easy card holder that I thought would be perfect for displaying ATCs. It was super simple to make, using only a paperback book and mat board for the base.

Here it is with a few ATCs stuck in.

Of course, I couldn't stop there, so I used the same concept and made my own mini book and turned it into a little diorama. This one is very manly so I'm going to do another, more feminine one also.

This a great idea, really enjoyed the sites you posted. Loved how yours turned out. It is a really great idea for some of those old books just taking up space.

What a great idea. Nice way to display swap pieces - you could change out the art work with each swap. Or make a seasonal display and swap it out with the seasons.
Thanks for the link (and I love yours!).
