PSL Week 2 - Art Medium
Re: PSL Week 2 - Art Medium
Don't you love it when the page takes on
a life of it's own, while you're working on it.
Terrific page!

Gorgeous Pam!
(I get the "not as fun" part - my fingers are sticking to the keyboard as I type this because I've used a ton of glossy accents this afternoon - my fingertips are an interesting shade created by Crushed Olive, Torn Lipstick, Vintage Photo and Weathered Wood Distress Inks)

Two LOs tonight - I must be feeling creative or something!
I've probably shocked the heck out of the CS people by posting a goth LO. Oh well, they need a bit of shaking up occasionally. The font isn't blurred when the moon LO is viewed at print size - don't know why it looks so strange reduced. The lyrics are from one of my favorite songs from when I could actually sing - Jimmy Webb's The Moon's a Harsh Mistress.

Love our favorite doggy!
But, I REALLY love the moon one. Is that grey/black pattern from Study in Red? I love the way it all blends into the photo. That is my idea of digital scrapping.

Pam, Cedric is such a regal dog, and I haven't seen a layout of him that wasn't fitting
The moon layout is awesome!! I love it- I love it- I lobe it!!!

Re: PSL Week 2 - Art Medium
The flourish background is one of the Short Sleeve Pants overlays. I desaturated it, lowered the percentage on the blending mode, and then erased a lot of it. The moon looked like it was caught in the branches the other night - so cool.
Re: PSL Week 2 - Art Medium
These are all really great Pam. I love your digis, as you well know. But don't hurt yourself! Take care of that wrist, please.

At this point in time I'm ready to scream with my hand and wrist. This is really getting old. If I use it, it hurts. If I don't use it, it hurts.

Cedric is such a handsome boy, your page
captures him nicely.
I LOVE the moon photo, living in the
City we don't get to see much of the
art in a night photo,I really like the presentation

Pam.... these are awesome!! I love the gothic one... moon and cloud shots are my favorite non-people or pet things to take pictures of. You're even making me like All That Jazz, and for all that I love music in all forms, that kit just did not appeal to me. Thanks for hte inspiration and take care of that wrist!! Try soaking it in hot water and Epsom salts.... that helps me when the tendonitis flares.
