Happy Birthday Layout
Happy Birthday Layout
This is for DD's 21st birthday this year. The photos were terrible especially the one with the cake which I lightened so much it got grainy. Still, it's a memory. I did this page for a weekend crop on another group. I'm not too thrilled with it but it used up that woven panel and some of those pink plastic letters. Her birthday is always the first layout in each year's album so 2010 is now officially started. Oops, fogot to add the date under the cake photo, Jan. 5th.

I like how you echoed the stars from the wrapping paper. Great LO!

Thanks very much!
It's starting to grow on me.

I like it. It's happy.
I kinda like the woven panel. That would be a good thing to do with all of these little ribbon pieces that seem to multiply. (They're worse than paper!)

I like it~and of course if it is grainy, it doesn't matter! It is recording the the memory that counts, right? Love the quilted piece
Re: Happy Birthday Layout
That woven piece is strips cut from magazine pictures. It's been around since I did some photo weaving several years ago. I had stuck the pictures in a shredder one at a time so the strips wouldn't get mixed up. But I have used scraps of paper. The ribbon is a good idea as I also have a lot of shorter lengths that are threatening to take over, too.

Totally agree - it's the memory that counts - and some memories get fuzzy with time so why shouldn't the pictures - LOL.ChristyB wrote:What an exciting milestone. Who cares if the photos are grainy. Perfect memento
