lo done for a challenge at swirlydoos--you needed to use three new techniques.

I made my bling using puff paint & transparency, used TH fragments to spell out I <3 U, took a chipboard circl, inked, stamped then covered with diamond glaze & diamond dust.
stamped on all my flowers & used puff paint again for the centers.

Paper is gcd studios, bazzill & club scrap

Hmm...I always wondered if the vintage shard glitter (glass) would be really abrasive. Do you have this LO in a sleeve? Does it tear the plastic? Do I NEED this? LOL... :cool5:

I love that Christy. I need to get some of that puff paint. Is it with regular paints in Craft stores?

I think it is more in the kids crafts section, or with the fabric paints

it is a bit abrasive, I have achieved the same effect with certain embossing powders, but it came in the kit and I decided to use it. Do you NEED it--probably not

Christy - could you get a similar effect with Stickles or maybe an irridescent embossing powder? It's a stunning layout!

I am sure you could.
I have also done this with UTEE-first I colored the chipboard, then stamped on it, then covered with versamark and UTEE. then one layer gives a shiny bumpy effect.

or covered your chipboard with puff paint/stickles--while wet cover with utee-let paint dry then melt utee.

Really only reason I used the diamond stuff was that it was in the kit. ;)

This is gorgeous! and that kit with those blue papers with the velvet print has been my all-time fave so far. I'm a little scared of the diamond dust myself. It's still sealed... probably going in the "grab bag" swap for ReCreate, since most people there are more likely to use it than me. :-) Haven't quite decided yet.
