A little Bling for me!!!

I've been working on a little birthday present to myself the last few weeks. I had all the beads out when I was making a bracelet for my mom last month and decided I needed one too. I found this crab bead at Shipwreck Beads a few years ago and finally decided to do something with it. This a combination of macrame and beads and it's all on waxed linen.

Wow! That is really cool. I got a bead weaving book for Christmas a few years ago, and was too intimidated to try anything. Your bracelet is gorgeous!

Rachelle...very cool, reminds me of the stuff we made in the 70's...remember macrame? Waxed linen thread....hmmm interesting. You can take a candle or beeswax and run embroidery thread through it to make your own...variety of colors, much less expensive.
