working on old photos

Post by Monica »

I think my scrappy mojo is finally back! I did a few layouts over the weekend, and took pictures this morning so I could share with you all. Random pictures from 2000... yeah, I know I'm not even close to caught up, but such is life! ;)

These pictures were set aside for awhile after I found them last year, as some of them are of the cat who died last year. Finally able to get them out and scrap them. It felt good to get them on the pages! The top pages are simply pictures of DH and the cats lounging in our 5th wheel. DH thinks I added too much "stuff" to the pages (more than my norm), but I really like the look of hte finished layouts. The photos on the second layout are not really that washed out.... for some reason I was having issues with light. :angry42:

Last pages for now:

Top layout is the only pictures I have of Christmas in California in 2000.... I can't remember now if some film got lost, or we simply didn't take pictures or what, but I thought I had more and couldn't find them.

Middle and bottom layouts are from a visit to Seattle to see some friends of ours.... and in case you can't really see, the middles layout is all about the jumping fish at the locks..... I so badly wanted my pole and some worms!!!

Wonderful pages Monica! Glad you got your mojo back. We all tend to loose it sometimes.

Beautiful LOs Monica. I hope some of your mojo rubs off on me.

Can I borrow your helper? I'll swap for two of mine.

Your helper is adorable. Multnomah Falls has to be my favorite of all these. I've been there only once, but what a beautiful place. Did you make those frames on the Cricut?

Sorry, Pam, she's a one person cat..... ;)

Beth, that's a Martha Stewart corner punch and matching border punch that were on clearance at my Michael's last week. I liked them when I first saw them, but was not going to pay full price! If you have a nearby Michael's, check out hte clearance punches. These ones were seasonal and on a small aisle end display, although I did notice that people left some of the clearance ones piled on the shelf underneath the regular punches as well.

I'll check out Michael's next week when I get over that way. I haven't been in there in a while. Too dangerous for the credit card!
