You Never Know...

Post by azemigh »

when you're going to find something to turn into art. We were cleaning out the back room and I came across a whole bag of tiny little coffee filters; I think for a percolator. They are only 3 inches in diameter. I hit them with some alcohol ink and folded and cut and came up with a flower, leaves and butterflies.

Yup, that flower is my favorite, too. What a great way to repurpose those!

Awesome Idea!!! Rachelle, I used to make those little yo yos (gathered circles) out of coffee filters. I think I saw it on Carol Duvall. The colors were never vivid enough for me so I think I am going to pull them out and re ink them with AI's! Thanks for the tip!!

So, I need to pull that stack of filters out of the recycle box?

What a great idea Rachelle! Thanks for the photos.

thank you all! And.....

would anyone like some of these? I have 280 of them. I could certainly slip 10 or 20 in the next thing I send out in a swap.
