Is anyone doing the Distress Challenge?

Post by capescrapper »

Here is my submission but I am having a hard time deciding which one to send in....

I used corrugated cardboard from Apple packaging (great stuff)!! and mostly Castaway CS kit papers. The Dragonfly is Henna.

I think photo #2 shows it to its best advantage....killer project, by the way!

I love it! Amazing work on this! I prefer photo 3-- since 2 doesn't show the dragonfly.

I thought about that, too, Holly..but since this is a "distress challenge", I thought the better view of the distressed flowers was a better choice.....all photos are knock outs!

I guess it is a matter of opinion, since I thought you could see the distressing on the flowers, since there was more dimension to them.

I'm going to say 1 simply because you can see the whole top!

Now are you any better off knowing which one to send

I would send #3 but I don't think there's a wrong choice.
Adorable project!

LOVE your project and to help muddy the waters, I like photo 1 too! It's just more interesting to me. Any of them will be fine for submission though. Don't know if I'll have time to join in the fun, but I'll root for you to win!!!

Thanks so much, isn't it funny how everyone sees things differently.

You all aren't any help at all... he he he  Just kidding, I really value all of your opinions!

And this was the reason why I asked, I was having the same inner battle with myself?!!!

So Julie, I thought about doing the same thing, then I thought, maybe he will think I am cheating or something trying to send in more pics than I should .... What should I do?!!

BTW, I took some more pics when the sun came out.... how about one of these instead?

I love the contrast in 2-- but Ruth Ann is right--either would be better than any one of the first group.

I wasn't in in time to weigh in on the photos, but I still had to say "WOW". That is a fantastic bird house! Gorgeous!
