That is really nice. Where are you going to hang it?

I think it is terrific, and it would match my scraproom to a T! (Hint-Hint) ;)

Thanks everyone! Holly - it matches my scraproom too, so it's probably not going anywhere. And given that Nicole helped quite a lot, I think she'd be sad to see it go.

I need to find a nice prominent space on the wall where I can pound an anchor and nail. That slab of wood is pretty dang heavy, so getting it hung is going to be no small task.

I wondered if it was heavy. It's really very pretty. Nice job, you two!

Yeah Pam, it's heavy enough that I wouldn't want to just use a nail. It's an 11.5x11.5" piece of particle board and it's about an inch thick. It was nearly too thick for the clock mechanism, and if I'd used a thick cardstock to cover the board, it wouldn't have gone together.

Something else I've thought of though, since doing this last night, was that I remember buying just the clockworks at Michaels once, a long time ago. I was wondering if I still had that, because it struck me that I should totally make an inchie clock. :D

It would, wouldn't it??? And I know full well that I have enough inchies to do it without even having to do another swap.

Looks great, Julie!

I have a CD case made into a clock that I bought as a kit years ago.... I may have to dig it out and update it a bit. (was way too into heavy applications of glitter glue at the time  )
