metal textured bird tag...

This was one of those things that started as an experiment...first with metal...then added textured background...needed something,...covered chipboard birdshape with metal, then needed a wing...then needed an embossed crown, then needed a lil something in the corner...this was all done with lil bits of this and that on my desk (too lazy to get up and look around) so unfortunately, the colors are all similar...but as a technique tag, it'll do!

Beautiful piece! What did you use for the textured background? I've used crumpled tissue paper but never really get the effect I want.

ancient chinese secret...LOL...bb glue and pearl ex...heated until moisture evaporates and glue bubbles up....

I knew that Cheryl Darrow of TSS was looking for textured paint techniques, so I emailed her this and she said she might try that for one of her videos....that would be cool!
