For Mom

Sometimes inspiration comes at the strangest times. Like at 3AM, after not sleeping for about 6 hours, I came across and old issue of Memory Makers (July 09). I saw a layout and knew right away I wanted to get something together like it for my Mom. Here is my take on what I saw. Her birthday was this week. Hopefully she won't see this until it gets to Germany!

OMG this is awesome.

The layers are fantastic, color is great---She's going to LOVE it.

I made a journaling card that is behind the main layer. Its in green. The tab reads What I Love on one side and the other reads What I Miss and the little hanging circle reads About Her. Looks a little strange in the pic but it brought out the green in the patterned paper I used.

Thanks so much you guys... It is GREAT to be getting inky again.

did you notice that the stones around
the Mom block look like twinkling lights,
especially in the photo of the whole creation?
Looks like a light caught just going on in a series
of traveling lights.
