Bernie Berlin - phone book & tissue paper

Even earlier this week but since so many of us are cyber-cropping, here's something else to play with.
I'm blending 2 lessons together again since they're similar. I skipped the Nev'r Dull (my lungs can't take the chemicals!).
Phone book paper -
This is just so easy - glue your page from the phone book onto your ATC. Coat it with a mix of acrylic paint & glazing medium (again, use what you have!). Remove exess with a baby wipe. Apply a second color for depth. Dry well (I hate that part). Decorate (fun part).

Tissue paper - Christy helped us with this technique at ReCreate in October - use gel medium to adhere tissue paper to your card. Add more layers and the crumplier the better :). Paint over the top layer - this is when you can smush down any air bubbles. Decorate!

Phone book paper - used an ad for an exterminator which made me think of spiders and halloween. Almost added some green to make it qualify for Christy's challenge :)

Way to go! Seems like once I have a background, it's easy from there.

Pam-- I am using the phone book BG for RA RRATCs. Such fun. I may use the tissue paper technique for the second set.
Love your SPOOKY bug ATC.

I had to scrounge for a phone book - we rarely use one. Not that I can read them which means I'd have to go scrounging for reading glasses.
If you don't have a phone book, use copy from any type of ad or catalog to see what you can come up with.

I'm glad you said that, Pam and Michelle. DH got a package from Hong Kong yesterday. Once I saw the newspaper padding and the pretty stamps with birds on, I ran off with that stuff! and I was thinking of this challenge.

We had just gotten some phone books - don't know if they were kept or not but I'll go searching. May just have to get that BB book one of these days.
