Mother & son

Post by Yoli »

A LO I completed this weekend. I still need some sort of title for the it but the bulk of the LO is done. I'm looking for a small poem/saying about the relationship between mother and son. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

The LO idea is from Robyn Weatherspoon and I used a paper from CS Asian Artifact as part of the background. Never thought argyle would compliment asian artwork but it seems to work on this LO. TFL

I originally had white cardstock in place of the Asian Artisan (AA). However I thought the white was too stark for the LO. I wanted a paper with a soft print as its background. I remembered the music sheet paper from Musical Interlude (MI) so I started digging through my stash when I ran across this kit. These kits where before my time at CS so I only have a few sheets of each. I keep those papers together in my CS misc pile. So you can see how I was able to find the AA paper while searching for papers from the MI kit. Just dumb luck. The blues/greens of the argyle print made AA an easy choice . . . odd . . . but easy.

Thank you ladies for your kind comments.

I love the paper combo and I love the LO. The bird is one of those things that makes me slap my forehead and say "Well, doh. Wish I'd thought of that."
