Christmas card using Tim's day 3 technique

Post by ChristyB »

I am not making tags right now (unless more hours are added to the day)
However I was intrigued by the AI plaid so decided to use it making a card.

Christie, this was a great way of altering the technique to fit your needs. I didn't have much time either and wanted to give day 3 tags a try. The pics aren't that great, but you'll get the idea of how I changed to use what I had. It was fun and would do again. That's what I love about his demo's, you can learn the technique and use it as you want.

Wow!! Love both of these!!! I was thinking too that some of these early techniques would be great for Christmas cards (especially if someone (like me... ) hadn't started hers yet...

I love how that stamp looks with this technique. I need to get mine out and play some more with this.

Great way to use the technique. Was thinking this would be great for some Christmas cards myself. I too think the CS tree looks great this way!

Great card - the three vintage Santa look wonderful!
And I love the CS tree/music collage stamp. Will definitely be using that this month.

I'm with you Christy - I'll just be making one lonely card for the birthday club exchange. The rest will be photo cards. But I LOVE the plaid technique - and I'm guessing it will be the one and only tag through this series that I already have the supplies for. So I may very well get around to trying it before the month is out. I am missing quite a few things for each of the tags, and don't even have any appropriate substitutions, but I'm building a wish list after each tag. :-)

Great cards gals!

I was planning to use my tags on Christmas cards but after seeing this, I think my next "tags" will just be cut to Christmas card front panel sizes. It works beautifully.

Great cards!!

I have a few panels myself and thought they may need to become cards. Great idea! ;)
