Great tag Rinda...got any ideas why the resist worked so well on this tag for you? Did the paint dry longer?

Playing catch up. Here's Day #11.
This was a fun tag! For the background, I used stamps by Club Scrap. For the reindeer, I started with a grungebord reindeer from the holidays set. I stamped the brocade pattern on top (Club Scrap) and embossed it before inking. For the flowers, I stamped SU images on sticky backed canvas and then used a circle punch to punch out my image. I stuck the circles on top of some big brads I had in my stash. Took some sparkly flowers from my stash and added a little vintage photo distress ink. Wrote Merry Christmas in white with an inkessentials pen from Ranger.

Here's Day #9. The color is weird on this, but I love the sweetness of the picture. I can tell Henry is nervous b/c of the way he's holding his hands. Clara is totally suspicious of Santa and is looking for cue on how to behave from her big brother!

For the film strip, I stamped one of Tim's stamps onto acetate and glued pictures behind. Used Tim's photo studio collage stamp in the background. Ink and stickles on the holly. Silver dauber paint and tickle on the number.

Thanks for looking.

Here's Day #8. My parchment didn't curl, but I love the tag. Only the foil one left to go to catch up.

Rinda - I almost used that bird stamp on mine, too! I had the acetate one and chose it instead. I love your versions of all of these! Great work!

I completed Tag 12 yesterday. Loved the grunge roses, but found them a little difficult to get to adhere to the tag. Because of the dimension, I took a picture instead of scanning. I couldn't get the photo to resize small enough to post here. So, that's all my long winded way of saying, you need to go see it at my blog:
http://gallorganico.blogspot.com/2009/1 ... ag-12.html

I only have one left to do to complete the set (the foil one), and I'm going to try to squeeze it in today b/c tomorrow we're heading to Southern California for a few days, and I'd like to submit them to Tim before we go.

Thanks for looking,
Rinda

Your tag is beautiful, Rinda! and the story about your Mother.
My Mother loved roses, too. I will have to remember your idea of roses for her grave when Mother's Day comes around.
