Rinda's Tim Tags 2009 - tag #12 on p. 4/last tag on p.5
Rinda's Tim Tags 2009 - tag #12 on p. 4/last tag on p.5
Here are my first two.
#1 uses CS snowman, swirls and snowflakes.
#2 has same background and splatters as Tim's, plus uses the frame motif. But, the frame is different (stamper's anonymous, I think), and I didn't have the metal stuff, so I substituted a German Scrap metallic Santa. I love the way it turned out, and I think you can see the resemblance.
And here's three I made with Day #3 technique. My take on this technique is that it is easy, but that it's time consuming because it's so much fun to make a whole bunch of tags with it! My only complaint is that I don't really like plaid that much, but I do like these three tags. I made six backgrounds. One bit the dust when I tried the pour blending solution on it to lighten it technique - didn't work for me. Another had a lot of pink and green in it, and I turned it into a simple gift tag. The last one is waiting for inspiration to strike. I would say this technique is definitely easier than the plaid technique he demo'd at easter.
And day 4: The tag celebrates Christmas shopping. It was fun to make the collage background. For the ornament, I used memory glass on top of a snowman stamped image. I sealed it with foil tape and then put metal photo corners around all four corners. Then I took a fifth very ornate photo corner to make a roof, added stickles and attached with wire.

Great Day 3s Rinda! I too found the plaid technique addicting, although I never did get the color I was trying for, I still liked them all.
