Day 4

I've decided I can learn as much about embellishing from Tim as I can about inking. I am a horrible embellisher...really. I buy stuff, obviously not the right stuff and don't really use it. After I inked this tag I went over all of it again with old paper ink..darkened the colors quite a bit so I added some red to the bottom.

Love this stamp 'A Christmas Dream' from Tin Can Mail (Inkadinadoo line)

These are all awesome tags........I'm not great at embellishments and need to watch a lot of his videos to learn how to use the ep's in different ways.
TFS.......need to make a NY resolution to learn new things in 2010

Love day #4. That is a great stamp. And I agree about Tim and embellishing. I also think he is a master of adding layers and depth. Every time I think it will be "too much" to add another layer, he proves me wrong.
He's a genius,

Day 5

I loved this tag of Tims...gotta get some fragments. I didn't even try to replicate, lack of time. I had made a few of these bulbs a couple of days ago...used crackle medium on it and rubbed some glitter glue into the cracks. Used white ink and bridal embossing powder on the Happy Christmas from Artistic Outpost. TFL

Hope, the santa was the first santa stamp I ever purchased when I started stamping. It is a Victoria Original (sp?) purchased unmounted on Ebay...I think she still sells on ebay.

Thanks for the encouragement ladies!

Love all your different takes on these 4 Julie! And I don't think your tree is pathetic at all. It goes very well with the rest of the grungy old fashioned feel of the tag. That santa is da bomb. I really need to find a good santa stamp.
