Rachelle's 2009 Tim Tags COMPLETED!!! (My Display)

Post by azemigh »

Here we go everyone! This one was a bit time consuming and I had to do alot of substitutions, but I'm happy with the results.

I couldn't get my crackle medium to work so I crinkled the tag and inked the crinkles; my snowman didn't have a real defined neck area for a scarf so I bagged that; I didn't have any grunge swirls so I took a swirl sticker and used it as a pattern to cut one out of grunge paper. I didn't like the way the black snowflakes turned out so I overstamped with Winter Wonderland embossing powder; no tiny tacker so plain blue staples; and I didn't want to wait for stickle "sickles" to dry so I put a loopy bow at the top instead.

Great job with this one. I'm giving it a try but my Crackle isn't working right for me. I don't have his and apparently the one I have I don't know how to use.

I'm working on mine right now too. My biggest problem is not having a snowman I like to use on it. I found one, but since it's a normal outline I'm having a hard time getting the white paint to stay on it very well. Oh well - if nothing else I learn what works and what doesn't with some of his stuff.

Another good job with substitutions. And I really do believe Tim would love what you've done! He can lead us, but I don't think he wants a bunch of robots. He is intending to teach us techniques.
