Love the LO. Is your cat a Birman?? I had two of them. Thomas and Kareem. Thomas lived until he was 19

That is a very pretty cat. You wouldn't believe a cat that pretty could be so ornery.

C.B.'s mom was a barn cat next door - brown tabby. Nobody can explain where the Siamese markings came from. He was a rescue because the neighbors believed that their barn cats could sink or swim - live on whatever they could find or .... He was wild as a buck and I had to trap him with a towel to catch him. I wish I could have saved all of the litter because he was the only one that made it. He's 12 years old now, and has the sweetest disposition. C.B. is short for Cat Burglar - when he was a kitten, he would steal things from the trash and the desk that he wanted to play with and hide them. (Ghost, on the other hand, just steals things and eats them.) It's really funny how all four cats have completely different personalities. C.B. was the fourth cat that I rescued from starvation and interbreeding at that pestilence pit. (Gee, can you tell I don't like the neighbors???) At least now they neuter some of their cats and give them cat food, but only because they want their boarders (horses - St. Andrews students) to think they care about their animals.

The fact that I gave this a serious treatment is really tongue in cheek. I hate pine trees. The only thing they're good for is to hold snow in winter and provide pine straw for mulch. Other than that, I have little use for the dratted things.

Pam CB is not part siamese. He is part Birman. They have similar markings to a siamese, but they have longer hair like CB :)

Will try to find a pic of my boys :) CB looks just like Kareem.
