I just learned this new technique. If you stamp an image on white tissue paper, then use mod podge or some other type of medium to adhere it to your atc - then the white fades away and leaves the stamped image only. It looks really cool.

Feel free to ask any questions in case I didn't describe it well.

Make 4 atcs, get 3 back. Due by Sept 15th.

Here is who I have received so far. If you have sent yours and you are not listed, please let me know. :)

I've been playing with the tissue paper technique today and think I have enough to make some atcs and cards. I dug out some Bernie Berlin and TJ backgrounds and also some waste paper that I've been saving for something. Fun and easy technique. Now, I need to add doodads and what nots.

Here are 2 of mine. Camera battery died in between taking pics so the other 2 will have to be a surprise. This is a great technique! Very easy and great results. I'm getting ready to post some cards I made with my other samples. I should have them ready to pop in the mail tomorrow.

This is probably going to sound really stupid, but I don't understand the point of this technique. Why not just stamp what you want unto the background unstead of going through the trouble with the tissue paper? Will someone please explain the benefit of this technique to me?
