Enabling

Post by pbp908 »

Sorry, I know I challenged you to send some $$ to A Place To Bark, but I had to tell you about this.

Last week (or week before - time slips by me!) when I ordered glue from Dick Blick, I found a set of pearlescent watercolors on their site. On a lark I thought I'd order them, especially since they were only $5.77 for a set of 21. They came today and I just tried them out. They're wonderful and are very very similar to the Twinkling H2Os. Not as many colors - remember, only 21 - but you can blend them and they behave like any other watercolor. And for $5.77 - they're a steal.

I saw the Twinkling H20's and fell in love with them. I can't find them in any store - I've tried, but I have found them on-line. I went to the Dick Blick site - but they have so many - can you tell me what the brand was or something to kind of narrow things down? Was it the Niji?

Yes, it's the Niji set. I ordered the set with 21 colors since they were so inexpensive. The colors are gorgeous IRL.
