I learned how to use www.picresize.com for PSL, and I would like to use it to attach a picture to this forum. I'm a total know-nothing re: computer stuff, so can someone tell me which numbers to put in which box at that site to resize a pix I can attach here.
Thanks a million,
Rinda
How do I resize a picture to attach?
Re: How do I resize a picture to attach?
Just do it the same way you did for the PSL. Click on custom, put 600 in the first box and then change it to pixels, don't worry about the second box. On my computer once it is resized it goes into a folder called recently changed and that's where I pull it from to attach in the forum. HTH.
Re: How do I resize a picture to attach?
Thanks for responding, but I tried that and got an error, saying that the file was too big (something about 451 dpi, maybe). I just put the picture in my gallery, is that what I should do?

Trying again to get the pix in post. The error says "The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 256 KiB.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Re: How do I resize a picture to attach?
Make sure you click on the box that says "custom" or it will not work. then put in 600 and then use the drop down arrow to change it to pixels.
Re: How do I resize a picture to attach?
Sometimes if that doesn't work, I'll take the pic that was resized and reduce it even further.... sometimes the files are way too big and I have to keep resizing...
