Deck of Art....Jack of Clubs

The Deck of Art challenge is where you use old playing cards as a base for altered art. Once card is chosen per week, with a theme, and results are posted here.

looks cool, dani....but the bb glue crackle works well with a heat gun....depends how much crackle you want in the end.

This was a hard one to come up with something to use especially since I have no printer here. In an old (1950) book of Mother Goose rhymes that I cut up, I found a big illustration for a rhyme about the circus that I wasn't familiar with but it had the words, too. It was black and white so I added a bit of color (I learned my lesson last week!). I added white glaze pen to the ruff and cuffs and while it was wet sprinkled it with fine glitter. It is very sparkly irl, of course. Also stamped the word "magic" from the Retro ums I just got in the big sale last month.

After I thought about this one for awhile, I remembered that I LOVED to play Send in the Clowns on the piano when I was first learning to play; and I dressed up as a clown for Halloween when I was 10.

Tim Holtz music mask with Concord Grape and Faded Jeans Distress ink; County Fair stamp over the top. Pic of me edged with Dusk EP; juggling pins are punch art created using 2 different sizes of tear drops glued together and embossed with the Dusk EP.
