Here's my Ace of Spades. It came together pretty quickly. The dark purple paper, small black butterflies and the saying all came from PIF envelopes. The red flourish was from a embellishment swap (last year maybe?) and the black butterfly I used in my color (Black) from the color swap at the Sept 2008 retreat.

I wanted to keep this personal even without a photo on it. So I chose to comment on the color!
I used the Tim Holtz stamp like a pattern envelope and a fabric sticker from Textiles and Notions. Other stuff from stash. I stamped on the white flowers with a Tim floral stamp and some fired brick distress ink. The cord with tassel is a dark purple not blue.

Not the world's best scan, but it's pretty lumpy.

Marrianne-- for hating the color--you still used it well!

Already have a theme picked out, gotta decide on a card. I didn't get my black/red/purple card assembled yesterday - it had to dry completely first, learned that the hard way the first time I put it together :-( Hoping to get it glued tonight an post a picture.

Here's mine
I quickly made this at the NC retreat this weekend. I used a couple of sizzlets diecuts, fiber and some glossy accents.

the card and theme change tomorrow morning....just a gentle reminder, if you are keeping up with the cards. Of course you can do them whenever you have time...just post to correct card's thread, please.
