Weekend Challenge 2/20---GLUE RESIST--winner pg4

I'm having so much fun with this challenge. I made two more cards this morning and am finally using all those unmounted stamps I've been buying.

My efforts weren't so great - this is something that I'm going to have to play with more. Need to trim my stamps a bit closer, too. I'm not usually this sloppy.

What I learned today...a) I didn't have the appropriate inks with me b) Artifacts paper peels beautifully for the faux felt (like velvet) c) I must have used the wrong type of glue, because it is stillllll tacky (it was the ultimate glue).

I just used the resist on these for the orange print over the top:

I used CS bookbinding glue and mine's still tacky, too. I think that's why it didn't work very well.

mine seems to be drying...we'll see in the morning...you definitely don't want to stack them up!

I used a very thin layer of book binding glue--CS-- and it was air dry in about 15 minutes. I used a little brush to apply it.

Deb's right. A VERY thin layer of bookbinding glue, applied with a small brush. So thin that it is almost completely transparent before you are even done applying. This is definitely a case of less is more.

i even added a touch of water to the glue...yep...used a brush

Debbie, Paula, Pam Julie, Sue and Christy these are terrific. I think all the samples are wonderful. I really hope to get around to trying it in the morning.
I got one and will be finishing it off soon.
