You can also make a variety of backgrounds with inks (then heat set) and stamp with permanent ink (so that you're not just coloring in). You can also do backgrounds with papers and/or acrylic paint and then collage with clip art.

Hi there, I used alcohol inks and then used the Stayz on with stamps.

you can dip a paintbrush into alcohol inks and paint with them too.
