My new purchase

Post by Yoli »

Sadly one of our local stamp stores is closing for business. Over a year ago the owner decided to retire so now she is selling all of her inventory . . . including bookshelves of which I purchased one. It needs to be painted to fit the color scheme of the wood in the room. I will paint and distress the outside of the bookshelf in black and stain the inside a cherry red. I plan to use the top shelves to display WM stamps that are not part of a set. The bottom half of the bookshelf may be used to store my 3 ring binders and other misc items.

Isn't it funny how small things can make you so giddy? LOL Have a fabulous weekend. You know what'll be doing this weekend! LOL

Yoli that is so great you were able to get that. Your choice of colors and technique sounds perfect. Must see when you are done. I laughed seeing the Cuttlebug sitting there since I just bought one today.

Not a lot of stamps left but more than I was expecting since there is only a week left before she closes the store completely. Everything but the fixtures are 50% off. She does have some shelves left but most are a little wider than the one I purchased.

Unfortunately I won't be able to work on this project this weekend. FIL is in the hospital so we are headed over to Bremerton (1.5hrs away) for the weekend.

Thanks ladies. I promise to post pictures of the unit painted once I complete the project.
