Wow!!! Time Flies!

Post by pbp908 »

Did anyone here realize that PAO will be 16 years old in November???? No wonder this place is more like home than my living room is!

When that hit me, I took a look at the ATCs that we've made to commemorate each year of PAO. Would you believe the last swap we did was for years 11 and 12???

We can't do 16 yet (or can we??), but I want to catch up! The thought occured to me that if I do an ATC a month, I'll be caught up by summer! (No, nothing sad about that! )

Anyone else in? We can start with 13 for March, and then 14 and 15 in subsequent months.

If in, let's aim for March 30 as the due date. Make one ATC per person who signs up. Mail direct to them.

I would love to, but I can't commit to anything until May beyond the spring card swap. Too many things going on March and April.

Let me make sure I understand...#13 for March, #14 for April, #15 for May? Is that correct? If so, I'm in :creating:

SIXTEEN YEARS??????!!!!!!
There aren't many of us left, but I'm very thankful for the ones that are.
Add me to the list for the swap, please.

I have to say that I don't believe in coincidences, but...

I finished my #13 ATCs this morning. Was dating them but for the life of me since I retired I barely know the date. I know the day, but not the date.

Today is the 13th.

Goodness - I'm behind already :censor: . Still working on Easter cards and hoping to get going on our Spring card exchange. I better get a move on...

Talk about "Time Flies". This morning, I received a phone call from my best friend growing up. We started in the same Kindergarten class and haven't connected with each other in about 28 years. This October will be our 50th HS reunion. We laughed so hard we almost cried. Funny how you still connect with some friends no matter how long it's been. A lifetime ago seems like only yesterday. :happy94:

Cheryl, that's great you reconnected with a childhood friend. I think it's been 2 years now, but a while back I met up with a friend who I hadn't seen in person for 30 ish years. She was on a road trip down I-75 though Ohio. I live VERY close to 75, so we met for lunch. Good times.
By the way, this is my 50th HS reunion year as well.

How funny......this is my 50th class reunion year, as well.
I will NOT be attending. I keep in touch with one high school friend - don't really care about anyone else. My graduating class was very large (almost 800) and very clique-y. I was pretty much invisible and was fine with that.

You sound a lot like me. I am deep down a loner and quite happy with my own company, but do enjoy time spent among like minded people🙂.
