Christmas 2023 - September Challenge

Post by gwendols »

I've been thinking about tags lately. I decided to make this month's Christmas challenge to make tags using extra Christmas/holiday things you might have on your desk or floating around your craft space.

The first picture is a birthday one that I made (Happy Birthday Jesus?). The second picture is of two tags that I made with items on my desk (including an envelope seal). The third is a scrapbook card (the ones you can use on pages or back when we used to do Scrapbook 365) that I made into a tag and added a star I had on my desk. I started another one but added some glitter gel and not sure how that ones going to come out LOL.

Starting these has given me a bunch of ideas to create more. I wanted to get this posted, but I'll definitely be going back to make some more.

I was just looking through the tags I made in the past for swaps, TH classes, etc. Sounds like a good time to make a few more.

So cute! This is a great idea. Every Christmas I think “I wish I had cute name tags…”
Going to pull out some stash.

Love your tags, Gwen.
I didn't have any Christmas stuff sitting around so I decided to use the first Christmas Box I put my hands on. That happened to be an Alexandra Reinke box.
These seem a bit simple, but I think they'll do.

Sue, they’re beautiful!

I grabbed a bag of scraps and didn’t allow myself to go back for more. Interesting enough - the bag of scraps is as full as it was before I started. This is a great rainy day project and, boy, is it raining here!
