Red, White and Blue Page Challenge

Post by pbp908 »

With Memorial Day here and Independence Day on the horizon I thought this might be appropriate.

Guidelines:
Red, white and blue are the primary colors for your page (of course!)
Stars and/or stripes as embellishments
Use of metallics - can be embellishment or paper
Optional:
Washi tape - at least one. Goodness knows we all have the stuff.

No sketch because I can't find any of the bazillion sketches that I've saved. :-o So, this is open season on however you want to layout your page.

I’ll see what I can come up with - maybe tomorrow? More likely when I’m home.
Sounds like fun!

I'll try to get mine done tonight, but today is all about a 60th birthday surprise party for my nephew. I rocked this sweet boy and now he's 60?!?!? Way to make someone feel old.

Sorry it took so long to get this finished. This has been a bad week and we're still trying to adjust.

The sun didn't cooperate very well when I was trying to photograph the LO. It's a bit heavy on the stars but I think Macie will like it.

My screen is so out of whack I'm not sure of how the colors look. On this :censor: thing they look blue!

Finally.

Finding a photo had me stumped. I Scraplifted Christy Harriman’s page for 30DSCBL12 Day 1.

WOW!

Pam and Pam, both of your pages are inspirational.
Pam P, an adorable costume for Macie's recital, what song
were they dancing to?
Pam C., I really like the use of the colorful banners on your
page. I may have to find an appropriate photo, so I can
scraplift the design.

Thanks, Elizabeth! If I remember correctly (all of the routines end up blurring after you watch so many!) it was a patriotic medley.

Pam - as always - love it!

A page to answer your challenge, a cruise photo
from 1994. The page design was inspired by a LO
in the Close To My Heart Catalog.
