Christmas 2023 Challenge - April

Post by pugmom »

Since Monica is on vacation and probably just forgot about this, I'll take this month and she can do June.

My inspiration for this was fabric snippet strips that I have seen on Pinterest and Pam's always beautiful paper and die cut clusters. I'm calling these cluster strips.

I started with a 2" wide x 12" long piece of double-sided tape (from Scrapbook dot com) and layered on scraps of paper and lots of die cuts. You could, of course, use a strip of cardstock for your base.

Here is a picture of my cluster strips and then the scrapbook pages I put them on.

And here are two non-Christmas cluster strip pages.

They are fabulous, Sue!
What a great way to use up scraps, stickers and other embellishments!

This could become addicting! Such a good way to use all those bits and pieces from collections.
After I made the 12x2 strip, I decided to make two smaller clusters to go along with it.
Will post the layout when it’s completed.

Better watch out Sue - we just might officially put you in charge of challenges going forward, LOL! This is a terrific idea; I'm familiar with snippets in fabric, but never thought to do it in paper.
Everyone's creations look wonderful. I'm sorry I'm away and don't have any supplies with me.

Sue, thank you for stepping in for me! Yes, I totally spaced it in trying to get everything ready for the trip. Loving what everyone has done for this. What a great idea!
