I’m taking MK’s class Blank to Bold mixed media class. Our homework from Saturday was to just play with color combos. My best take-away was that complementary colors mixed make “earth tones” not “mud”. I was fascinated with the beautiful browns I was able to create - and how they would be the perfect shade of brown. An a-ha moment was when I blended red & blue and then immediately choose a purple flower to embellish.
Two cards I made with my paints.

These are lovely, Pam. The Colour Blending exercise has produced some interesting backgrounds. I'm looking forward to seeing some more of your experiments.

This looks like a seriously fun class to take! you're already making cool discoveries and some great cards.

Re: Playing with color
Thanks! Recently I saw that if you change the ratio of the colors you blend, the colors change pretty dramatically. I hope to get some time Sunday evening to play with them.

Re: Playing with color
It’s a really good class. I’m going on their cruise in February 2024. Debbie B and I are sharing a cabin. I’m really looking forward to it.
