Monet at the Biltmore and a random page
Monet at the Biltmore and a random page
The water lilies page goes with the one I did for Round Robin #41, which I posted a couple of days ago. The pictures are from the Monet & Friends exhibit at the Biltmore.
The other page is me and two friends. If you look closely, you'll see that the gal in the middle is wearing a pig hat, so I put a tiny little pig in the center of the flower in the middle of the page.

So nice to see your layouts, Sue! Are those the real water lily paintings from Paris? I love fun "just because" layouts like the hat page!

So beautiful Sue!
My water Lily die set finally arrived. Now I can scrap some of my photos.

Your "Waterlilies" page is beautiful, Sue. I like the woven strips on the other layout, too.
Re: Monet at the Biltmore and a random page

Thank you all so much.
Marianne - it was the Monet & Friends Immersive Experience at the Biltmore. This explains it much better than I can:
"It is an immersive multimedia art experience combining high-definition projections of Monet's, and his impressionist peers', paintings with digital surround sound. Imagery and animations are projected at a scale that offers visitors the ability to see the details of the artist's work like never before".
Here's a picture of the room. You sit or stand, and they project the paintings and quotes or other information about the artists or their paintings on large screens and on the floor. It was beautiful.
Last Christmas they had Van Gogh (which I didn't see) and next month through February will be da Vinci.

Re: Monet at the Biltmore and a random page
There are two of Monet’s paintings in the Biltmore. I took photos because they were rather far from the walkway.

Thanks, Sue, I wondered if it was something like that.
