49 and Market mini album

Post by Monica »

I fell in love with 49 and Market's Spectrum Sherbet papers, and jumped at the chance to be part of a FB live class assembling one of their albums with flip elements added. This will be photo heavy, but I opened and opened and opened as I took photos.

I hope you share again after you add
your photos. The album came out great.
I've ordered parts of this release but haven't
used any of it yet. After seeing your album,
I think I'll need to decide how to use at least some of it :)

Aww.... thanks for all the kind words! :happy94: One thing I can tell you, their rub-ons are absolutely a dream to use!

And Elizabeth, when I get photos on it I will repost, but it may be a few months... I've got a few other projects lined up!

I LOVE this project!
I talked myself out of getting this collection when it was first brought to my attention and now, of course, I'm kicking myself. Scrapbook dot com still has some single sheets - I may have to cave.

Beki made one of these this weekend. It took HOURS and she was still working on it when I left today. Granted I haven’t made one but it sure seemed to be worth all the work and time invested.

It's definitely not a quick to assemble album, but I do think all the time invested is worth the finished project.

Gorgeous album Monica! I like how you focused on just one side of the colour spectrum. I agree that their rub-ons are a dream and really hope they stand the test of time; rub-ons have always been one of my favourite embellishments. Do you know what photos/subject you'll use this for?

I plan to do a second album with the warm colors of the spectrum, once I've got photos in the first one. Already bought the album and inserts for it! As for photos to go in the first one, I'm planning to use it for pictures of my childhood. A lot of them are small and should work well in this album. I've been meaning to scrap them for years but just never was inspired by anything I looked at. In general this album is sized for smaller photos, at least the way the class was taught. Standard size for the photo mats was 3"x4".
