Disney INSD 2022

Post by Monica »

I'm participating in a two-week crop at DisneyScrappers, so look for more Disney layouts to be showing up here!

My first one was for a pink challenge. Anyone who knows me knows that pink is not my color of choice, but I found these photos of my nieces with Princess Aurora and ran with it! These are from Disneyland's 50th Anniversary celebration, so it's past time they get scrapped.

he washi tapes on the right are a pink/yellow and a blue/purple iridescent that I thought went well with Aurora's changing dress in the movie. The Aurora tag uses chipboard from a Princesses set, the 3 fairies are from a really old HOTP Disney embellishments cut-apart book, the layer on the tag is Say Cheese, and the tag base is watercolor paper with Kitsch Flamingo and Victorian Velvet Distress inks applied and spritzed to blend. Oh, and the title sticker is from The Happy Planner Disney Princess sticker book. The base paper and neutrals elements are all 49 & Market.

Photos from Jungle Cruise in 2018. My background papers are from a Stamperia collection called Savana, sticker from the vast amount I've collected, and I found the words from the Jungle Cruise sign to cut out with the Silhouette Cameo on woodgrain paper, which I then distressed a bit with Distress inks. The Congo Queen title and boat are a cutfile from a friend on DisneyScrappers. A bit fiddly but the end result is so cool! I layered it on a label die from an old TH Bigz die, trimmed a bit at top and bottom.

My next photos are a pre-crop challenge to make 4 embellishments, and a crop one to make your own kit and use it for another challenge.... I'm still working on the pages, but here are my embellishments and my kit!

Here's another one, based off a sketch we were given. The patterned papers are all a Cricut pad that was Alice themed, and even though it's busier than I normally would do, I love how it turned out.
