For those of you not on Facebook... got word early this morning that they were going to put Pam's hubby, Joel, on a ventilator... but she has updated that to say they're holding off for right now.

Pam's most recent FB post:

Hello family & friends! I have phone service again. Briefly - Joel has had a good day and I’m about the same. Could be in hospital about a week (me) unless I start feeling much better. Joel hopes to make it out of ICU today or tomorrow. We love you all and appreciate your prayers more than you know.

Imagine sitting at your desk, talking to a counterpart in another office when your cell phone rings & it tells you Pam Cook is calling.

Pam sounded good, all things considered. She said she wanted to call while she had some energy. She said this has been quite an ordeal; she and Joel, both are improving; they expect Joel to be moved out of ICU as soon as a bed becomes available; she expects to be released earlier than the originally projected 10 days as long as she continues to improve.

The most important thing is, she asked that I please tell everyone on PAO how grateful she is for all your thoughts and prayers; they mean so much.

HI!!!!!!!!!
It's good to "see" you. We miss you.
Hope you're continuing to see a little improvement each day and that you and Joel will be home soon.
