31 Days of Cut Files

Post by pamcook »

Debbie and I are doing this challenge and both of us are taking vacation this month. Great planning, right?
This thread is where I’ll eventually get them posted. Hopefully Debbie will post her’s here as well.
If this thread inspires you to use some cut files, please add them!
I ended up covering most of the pines in the cut file because the mountains in WNC are hardwoods and details like that kinda annoy me.

Love it! I wouldn't have thought twice about seeing pine trees on YOUR page, but I know what you mean. I tend to overthink things - if it doesn't make sense or "go" with everything else, I won't add it to MY page or card.

It's Khristina Sorge's daily facebook live this month. She sold a bundle of cut files - but obviously, if you have a Silhouette or Cricut, you can cut your own. This week, she's using Paige Evans' cut files.

AND I spent a ridiculous amount of time backing those little pine trees as well.

I wouldn't have even noticed the hidden trees. Could you have cut them out and saved them for a layout where they made sense?

This cut file made me think of city streets so it stamped me. It sat there on my desk for too long and then we went on vacation. Today I looked at pages done by others doing the challenge and found MK Gunn’s gorgeous page. I pretty much CASE’d the entire thing.

I'll admit I've barely looked at what KS is doing - and attempting to buy anything she is selling is totally off the board for me - but I've long been a fan of MK Gunn's, and agree some of her pages are stunning. Your pages look great Pam.

Thanks all!
The ideas for using and adapting cut files have been really good.
Some of them still have me stumped but I’ll think of something eventually.

Here’s one using the fish cut file and inspired by Missy Whidden.
