August 2021 Christmas Card Challenge

Post by katymjo »

This month's challenge is "All in a Row"
August is a good month to get a head start by making a batch of cards.
Get out your stamp platform, a clear stamp, an ink pad and a strip of cardstock. Place the stamp at the "open" side of the platform and the strip of card along the bottom. Repeat-stamp by leaving the stamp in position and moving the strip along by the same amount each time. Now you have your stamped strip you can mat it on coloured card or inked paper.
You could use a row of die-cut images instead, and mount your strip horizontally or vertically.
Hope you have fun with this challenge!
Kathryn.

Great idea! I have so many Christmas stamps Ive never used and this is a brilliant way to create a pattern with them.
The colors you used are very pretty.

These are lovely, Marianne. I like the way you staggered the row of trees, and used different shades of green. Thankyou for playing!

Terrific way to get greater impact out of a smaller stamp. Very nice cards ladies.

Jill, what a great idea to weave the ribbons through the row of candles.

I’m back on track now. Got some Christmas things out and I’m going to try to catch up on these challenges!!

Not super happy about the green on green card but this was a fun process. Still have a few more ideas.

And a super simple one just because I came across these stickers while looking through Christmas stuff.
