Cards From CP’s WCMD Zoom Retreat

Post by paddlegal »

I was able to join two of the three scheduled Zoom events today that Catherine Pooler hosted for Stamp Nation members. CP Brand Ambassadors demoed techniques and super cards. I made these two cards as I watched the demos. My cards were of my own doing and not what was being demoed since we had no idea what was on the schedule other than who would be demoing. It was a lot of fun and tomorrow there will be one more session. Hope to join in.

Thanks everyone. Didn’t get far today in my card making. Watched and “chatted” with members during Catherine’s one complicated, but gorgeous card. I am playing around with Nuvo Watercolor Pencils which are luscious and creamy to use.

Debbie, yes. Both background papers are CP. The slim line Christmas card’s paper is specifically slim line patterned paper pad from the holiday slim line release and the fall card’s patterned paper is the Fall Pick-n-Mix patterned paper pad.

What happy cards! While not CP I have a couple of cover dies I might try that technique with; thanks for the idea.

Thank you Cheryl and Keitha!

Keitha, yes! Any cover plate with some open patterns will do the job. I have an assortment of some very glittery papers that have been wasting away in my stash that I may use the same way as the background for the cover plate. It’s a great use of 6x6 paper pads for A2 cards but also slim lines.
