August 2020 Card Challenge - Let’s Get Trendy - New Sample

Keitha I can totally understand not wanting to get into yet another batch of supplies. But that is definitely not my intention nor necessary. My butterfly card is a partial example of that. Though I did use a scalloped slim line die to cut the panel, my butterflies are just non-specific, regular sized stamps. Plus these cards fit into a standard business size envelope using just one US postage stamp (I would hope Canadian as well) which I described in my challenge.

If I misled anyone that I expected you all to go out and buy new supplies, I apologize. I generally use my paper trimmer to cut the various panels to fit my designs.

I must admit that while this is a great new trend I don't do them. Keitha I don't really think you need to buy different supplies, just cut paper different.

Well, I don’t blame you for my weakness, I ordered some of those dies too!! If I don’t spend it my kids won’t have a second thought about spending it.

I know I don't have to buy specific supplies for these, but I also know I'd be more than tempted. It would start innocently enough, 'oh, I'll just get that one stencil...' and I'd be off. So instead I skip right past the videos and emails I see with them; what I don't know (I'm missing) won't hurt me. However I shall admire the offerings of my PAO sisters (and their grandkids).
