in search of Mona
in search of Mona
Does anyone have a stamp of the Mona Lisa and would you be willing to send me a stamped image? I'm thinking of Tim Holtz's collage components stamp, but really any stamp of the Mona Lisa would work. When I was in New Orleans we ate dinner in a restaurant in the French Quarter called Mona Lisa, a fabulous pizza place with portraits of Mona all over the walls. I say that tongue-in-cheek; the one across from our table was of Lucy (from Peanuts) in the Mona Lisa pose. While I want to put a stamped image on my layout I don't really want to buy a stamp just for that.

Re: in search of Mona
I think I have one or two images, Keitha. I'll look tonight when I get home, but I'm fairly certain I at least have Timmy's in one size or another.

I might have some too from our trip to Italy and France. I have a whole binder full of stamps that I used for those trips. I’ll see what I can find.
Re: in search of Mona
Here is all I have of Mona but I have lots of Roman and Greek statues etc. Do you want these?
Also no matter how much you ink them up they are made to look “old” so it looks like they are weathered.

Re: in search of Mona
Yes. I'm partial to the one with the postage stamp edge, thanks Deb!
Re: in search of Mona
Thanks so much. Our pizza there was delicious; I'm sorry I didn't take a photo of it. I try not to be self-conscious taking photos when I'm out and about but I think I succumbed to that in this restaurant. I regret that as there were some really good photo ops; I might borrow a couple from online to augment what I took.
Re: in search of Mona
Debbie, Mona was in my mailbox today. Thanks again!
